Another CUHWC new year trip to Seathwaite in Borrowdale. I went for some bonus Wainwright-bagging on the way up on Sunday, going up Great Mell Fell by probably the wettest hillside in the northeastern Lakes.

Monday was a jaunt up Rosthwaite Fell, Glaramara and Allen Crags; Tuesday was Sourmilk Gill, Base Brown, Green Gable, Great Gable and Fleetwith Pike; Wednesday was a lovely expedition round the sides of Gable and Kirk Fell to go up Pillar from the Ennerdale side above Pillar Rock in the snow; and Thursday was an attempt at Grasmoor from Buttermere but it was insanely windy so we gave up and went to the pub.
